How it Works
The TT-2DxL is designed to test acoustic transducers for resonance over the frequency range of 1 kHz to 2,500 kHz. The TT-2DxL tests most all types of transducers, including transformer-coupled and magnetostrictive devices. The transducers relative phase and the impedance at resonance are displayed on the two line LCD display. The leakage resistance of the transducer can be measured and displayed over the range of 40 ohms to 10 megohms.

Using the TT-2DxL
Connect a transducer to the xducer jack. Turn the power on and rotate the frequency controls until the LED brightness peaks, indicating a resonant point. Read the frequency and impedance. Press a button to check for continuity/leakage. If the resonant frequency is correct and no leakage is indicated the transducer and associated wiring are good. Bad transducer elements and incorrect cabling or wiring are easily diagnosed.

CURRENT DRAIN:	25 mA avg, 40 mA max.
EST BATTERY LIFE:	10 hours continuous use with alkaline battery
RECOMMENDED BATTERY:	Alkaline type similar to EVER READY #522 or equivalent.
